History of John Sager Middle School

Our school is named for the historical figure John Sager who is closely associated with the history of the Whitman Mission. John Sager was the eldest of 7 children. He and his siblings where orphaned in 1844 and taken in by Marcus and Narcissa Whitman. For a brief factual account of the Sager story click here.
